PearChef provides apartment dwellers with chef-prepared meals in select rental locations in the Chicago area. By offering a varied menu that covers most dietary preferences and changes weekly, on-location personal chefs provide an unrivalled experience to renters: a freshly prepared meal, delivered piping hot to their doors in less than 15 minutes. Founded in the summer of 2018, PearChef is partnering with a number of owner-managers of rental apartments, and is rolling out the service at a rapid pace. SLoFIG members were impressed with Pear Chef’s emphasis on fresh, seasonal, healthy meals using local products when possible.
